- Login to LogAlto
- Go to LogAlto login page.
- Enter your credentials to log in.
- Access the Projects Menu
- On the left side, click on “Projects” in the dark grey menu.
- Add a New Project
- At the top left of the “Projects” page, click the + sign inside the green circle.
- A new panel titled “Add a new project” will appear on the right.
- Enter Project Code or Acronym
- In the “Code or Acronym” field, enter the assigned EM Number (e.g., EM24-0XX).
- Fill in the Project Information
- Enter all requested information. Additional guidance for specific fields:
- Status: Select “Active” if the project is ongoing or “Completed” if the activities are finished.
- Implementing Office: Enter the Country Office implementing the project.
- Supporting Office: Enter the office with the donor agreement (usually ADRA International).
- Donors: List any donors, including ADRA Offices, funding the project (this doesn’t grant them project visibility).
- Partners: List any involved parties not providing funds.
- Enter all requested information. Additional guidance for specific fields:
- Upload a Project Photo (Optional)
- You may upload a photo to be highlighted on the main project page.
- Specify Project Locations
- Click the “+” sign and choose the region, country, and as specific an administrative level as possible.
- Enter Supporting Office Contact
- Enter the main EMU contact as the Supporting Office Contact.
- Enter Principal Contact
- Enter the main contact at the implementing country office.
- Ignore Irrelevant Fields
- Skip the “DAC code,” “Supporting Office Account Number,” “Advisor,” “Contacts,” and “Funds#” fields, which are not relevant to EMU projects.
- Select Emergency Type
- From the “Emergency” dropdown, select the item matching both the type of emergency and type of response for the project.
- Save the Project
- Click “Save” to create the project. You will be redirected to the project page.
- To add individual beneficiary numbers at the end of the project, click LogFrame from the top right, click the pencil Edit icon on the right, then enter the total number of individual beneficiaries reached under any of the “Actual project to date” fields on the Primary demography row.
Once these steps are completed, your new EMU project will be set up on LogAlto.
